My tax return!!

I applied for a consumer proposal on October 2018 and was accepted and i have been paying my monthly payments. Now, I am doing my taxes soon probably sometime in March 2019 for the year of “2018” and in my consumer proposal I included my “8,900” debt with employment insurance . Will Revenue Canada take away my 2018 tax return??? is Employment insurance part of Revenue Canada ???? I am really worry they will keep my refund?????

Yes – the Canada Revenue Agency can set off your 2018 income tax refund against EI overpayment you owe to them. However, they good news is that your 2019 income tax refund will be sent to you next year.
